It’s finally here!
Following our successful trial run last week, this evening (Wednesday 17 June 2015) we are launching The Bare Necessities project.
You are all invited to come down to Gateway Foyer between 4pm and 7pm – visit the market place, find a bargain and get the chance to win one of our community prizes kindly donated by local businesses.
We look forward to seeing you all later.
We’ve had a great response from businesses in the local community!
Mr Jones Watches, j-me and Interflora have donated a range of great products for young people, and our local Nandos on Clink Street has also given us five Chicken Cheques & their wonderful sauces for our community prize.
…and this is just the start, we are still in conversation with other local businesses who want to do their part, lend their support to our project and ensure young people have the Bare Necessities they need.
At our launch next week (Wednesday 17 June) and each time you visit the market place, you’ll get the chance to win one of these community prizes if you buy something.
After spending the past couple of months meeting with local food banks, having conversations with local businesses, talking to potential customers, working with an accountant and negotiating with local suppliers we are ready to open the market place.
And YOU ARE ALL INVITED!
We’ll be holding a trial run this Wednesday (10th), with brand new stock, so come down and meet the team, browse the shelves and find yourself a bargain.
The big launch will be taking plan next Wednesday (17th June) from 4pm-7pm in the Foyer.
Show your support on the day, and (most importantly) see all the great offers we’ve got in stock for the Bare Necessities you’ll need.
Looking forward to seeing you there,
